The first step in the process is to strip off the old finish on the wheel. This process involve lightly sanding the wheel followed by a more abrasive sanding technique that will remove any curb dame (curb rash). the rims are cleaned and rinsed and prepared for the buffing process.
Buffing of the rims takes time and requires expertise and a great deal of elbow grease. Several coats of polish is used until your rims are looking factory brand new. On most wheels a clear coat is applied and baked in to complete the process.
